Anyone shooting with a HD cam AND DSRL?

I'm currently halfway through shooting a documentary with a HVX200 and now realize I need a second camera. I thought long and hard and decided to get a Canon EOS 7D. I will run the HVX200 and have my assistant run the 7D.

Has anyone else used both cameras in one shot at same time? If so, how different did the footage match up with one another? I'm going to white balance both, use as much as the same settings as possible but I'm wondering how much difference there's going to be between the two cameras, even if I try to match them up ahead of time.

I suppose they can be corrected in FCP in Color but I'm looking to have everything done right the first time.

too bad you couldn't get another hVX and make it easier, if you find you want one send me a pm, maybe I can come out with mine.

if both cameras are balanced to the same reflected light then the difference should be small though i believe the lens attributes of the 7d (what kind of lens's do you have) would be different, as in faster lens and that can cause a different look.
