Anyone seen this banding before?

It seemed to come out of nowhere. Thick horizontal bands that travel across the image. Only happens when it's a bright image, depending on my ISO/shutter speed, etc. Never used to do it, I'm going to update my firmware, but I'm pretty sure thats not the issue, as I tried it in MPG mode which I've never touched in the hack and it still has it. Possible chip problem?

I second the fluorescent lighting. I had something similar in my bathroom and it was lit by a tube FL across the mirror. Try shooting outside in natural light and see if you can replicate the pattern, though you shouldn't be able to.

Actually,
We need more info on this, namely ISO setting.

True, it can be fluorescent lighting which affects cameras. But, it can be the high ISO banding which is a known issue on GH2 cameras. I don't see it under normal shooting conditions.
