Just bought a Sony A7ii...
I have used the T2i for years along with a Zoom H4n... I know that everyone is going to say "don't run a mic straight into an SLR" but please please please refrain... I know that is "standard procedure." I diligently trying to bring in as little gear as possible into client's homes, offices, etc with as little batteries as possible...
I'd love to run the Giant Squid lav into the camera but emailing Darren resulted in a rather short/sweet email saying that "his mics don't work with most cameras" which obviously I offended him by asking if his lav could run straight into my A7ii...
Sooooooooo, just wondering if anyone is running a lav mic (that does not require a battery) straight into their A7ii and if so, what mic???
