I have no idea what it was called - but someone posted a video a while back that showed guys basically doing some sort of hiphop gymnastic type moves in urban areas - jumping off walls and stuff.

That style of 'dance' has a name - and now I can't remember what it is.
I was telling my wife about it, and wanted to show her the video - but now I have no idea how to find it.

Anyhow - if anyone has any idea what I'm talking about, let me know.
 
I don't know the video you're talking about but I've got to say that's one funny Thread Title.
 
ohhh that was the "thing" with the whatchamacallit that was totally like that other stuff with the thingamajig, I know exactly what we were talking about, but it has nothing to do with any of this.
 
Does anyone else find the occasional "where'd that darn thread go" humorous? Obviously a signal that some of our members aren't fully composed when they post. Only Jared, Barry, Neil, and John Hudson (who am I missin'?) should be forgetting posts...

15,000+ is alot to keep track of. I envy such memory capacities! How do you do it?!

As i recall this "sport" started in France.

The original video i saw years ago was even more insane than this featuring guys leaping across rooftops of buildings and huge gaps. and jumping down like two or three story drops to swing off a light pole and down a rail or something...I'll see if i can find that video.

The originators made a movie about it if i'm not mistaken.

That's very well said Jack... I didn't need the clarification... but that conveys exactly what goes through my head when I watch that stuff.

If he was around in Roman times we'd all be talking about the miracle of the flying man. (whatever his name is)


EDIT: The first page of that site has a shirt on it that has "PK" on the front and "Unleash your inner monkey" on the back. :grin:

hah yeah!!!!! I used to rent that when i was a kid becuase I loved anything to do with martial arts.. and that had ninjas on teh cover.. ;)
