FS7: Anyone knows FootageStudio 4K for prores on windows?

Because it works faster and smoother in 4K, I want to go from xavc-i to Prores or dnxhq (X) for davinci resolve on a windows computer. My options are:

- Get a Mac, had one did that been there. Nice option, looks good but expensive.
- Build a Hackintosh, easier said than done, we are stuck in the process at the moment. Dear son gave up for now and went back to his gaming computer.
- Use Resolve to transcode to dnxhq (10 bit), a bit slow I think.
- Buy software: footage studio 4K (can't find many reviews).

So question is I want to try it, but before that I would like opinions from people who use this software. (Alternative is drag son from behind his gaming PC and force him to tweak the pc into a Hackingtosh.)

Thanks

Thanks Ben,
downloaded it. It works now for adobe media encoder, (not sure if it did before because I stopped using it after I canceled my subscription) but unfortunately it doesn't work in catalyst prepare and footage studio 4K as far as I could see. It seems logical to me that Sony would ad dnxhq in catalyst prepare.
