Anyone know much about this monitor?

Coffee, I have one of these, but it was a hassle to get it and then get it working. I ordered it from Marketek and got the wrong kit first....something with a video loop or something.

Now, that it's all sorted out I'm having problems. One of the batteries wont work with the monitor and I'm having a shorting-out issue.

It's been a while since I look at it, but i don't think that mine had any RCA inputs...I can't remember how I connect it, but I think it's kind of a patched together fix. I'll try to check tonight and post back.

In short I wish that I would have stepped up to one of the nicer versions...even the panasonic one.
 
Hey coffee, I just checked out my monitor and now i remember the biggest issue that I had with it. It's in regards to how you input from the camera to the monitor. The only video input on mine is a mini-headphone style jack. So what I had to do was take a two-headed RCA cable and buy an RCA to Mini-Jack adapter and then electrical tape the whole mess together. I would have sent it back, but they sent me the wrong equipment two times in different ways and I was anxious to use my crane.

The resolution on it seems, not too bad, but I wouldn't use it for more than Steadicam or crane work and basic framing.

Let us know if you find a good monitor out there.
