GH2 Anyone know a way to do Remote and Mic in?

I fully assume that there is not a way. I did searches for everything I could think of and didn't come up with anything. But I figured I'd throw it out there. For much of the work I do I'm a one man crew. Recording audio on the GH2 saves the step of syncing in post. Since I'm 1 man crew, and I'm using the audio, right now it means going back to the camera and pressing start and stop between takes. But ideal situation would be to be able to use mic and my remote simultaneously, obviously.

Any adapter or way to daisy chain that would get both signals in the camera?

Nope- but there's software out there that will auto-sync for you so double system sound is not a pain. On the Mac it's Pluraleyes/FCPX. Not sure what the PC equivalent is but I'm sure it exists.

I hard wired into the video record button. This will void any warranty and is not for the faint of heart. It requires nearly half disassembly of the camera. I needed audio in and the ability to punch record from my b4 eng lens servo handle. It works for me-

With this mod, I'm sure an IR trigger could be rigged as a wireless remote.

Didn't happen to take any pictures of how you ran it and connected it all in did you?
