Anyone in Sydney with HVX footage? :-)

Hi everyone!

I'm loving checking out all the HVX footage on here. Wish I had faster broadband though. Heheheh.

I've searched the forums but haven't found any Sydney people who have posted footage. Has there been any posted already at all? If not, anyone want to? :)

I've got a couple minutes' worth, but no place to upload it. Anyone want to host a 140+ MB file?
 
Well I liked the footy but not the surfers. Australians and their warm water, WHY ARE THEY WEARING wet suits. I have surfed 12 years at hunington beach, IN WINTER and only a rashguard.

Those surfers are actually a bunch of holiday makers from California USA, there was no Aussies in the water that morning (waves too small). For future reference it's easy to spot the Aussie surfers, the girls will be wearing a rashguard, and the guys will be in the nude with ice packs strapped to their backs.

Oh ! You're the one we're laughing at ?

Who are you kidding ? I surfed San Diego wintersurf foreva' and come wintertime; it's fullsuit for me.

It gets like below 60 degrees out there. You gotta be the only dude out there doing that.
 
Man... surfing in the cold in a fullsuit.. with booties and a hood... That's just seem crazy. I can't stand the cold water even if the surf is big... when ya feet get cold and ya nuts are way up in your stomach.. forget it..

Like, I think the most amazing footage ever is that crazy guy who surfed Mavericks for 12 years by himself... In that cold water surfing out for 1/2 a mile or more.. I'd be plum knackered and have to pass out.... But again, I'm a pansy server. If I want to get beat up.. I'll just go to my ving tsun kungfu class. Atleast that way I have a chance to block the punch... or atleast see it coming...
