I stumbled across this post in CL. I am not involved with this project at all. Just thought it would be nice to bring together people for a project.

Tonight, Tuesday June 8th, we will be shooting a short film through the Dances With Films film festival in Hollywood. A script we wrote was accepted to the "Two-Minute Two-Step" section of the festival. As part of the acceptance, the festival is providing us with all the equipment we need, a studio in which to shoot and two Canon Mark 2 5D's. They give us just tonight to shoot (approximately from 6PM-12PM, but filming should really only take 3-4 hours). Our film is then edited and plays at the festival the tomorrow night, Wednesday at 7:15PM, then plays again at the closing ceremonies.
Our DP/Camera Op is too unfamiliar with the Canon Mark 2 5D and lighting for it, and we need a replacement immediately. This is an unpaid gig, but a great chance to get some film festival experience, imdb credit, and see a film of yours up on the big screen. We will also have free sushi and beer for the crew. What more could you want for a one night commitment? Contact us with experience and a phone number as soon as possible.

Here is a link to the Dances With Films website with a description of our film. Ours is titled "Ahab's Sushi Restaurant":
