I may actually get one of these. I have a comedy-rock band and getting good (by which I mean remotely presentable, not slick and professional) recordings of our shows has always been iffy (sound/cam position). I'm thinkin I get one of these, maybe a gorilla pod (or just my regular tripod), put it at a side angle on the stage and hit record. Not the most exciting/flattering angle but gets it done. Some places I could even run the board mix to it if they'll do us that courtesy.
