Anyone having trouble selling their FS-100

Hey guys,

As much as I love my FS-100, it's time for me to move up to a different camera due to client needs etc. With that said, I'm having an incredibly difficult time selling mine. Have any of you guys run into this problem? Any suggestions of tapping markets I'm unaware of to help sell it?

Make the price $500?

I think there is a lot of expectation management here - who wants one?

Working people can afford a C100, broke students can get along with a T2i and a Zoom, hobbyists dont do sound and are better with a hacked DSLR

The great thing about the FS100 is even if you toss it in the trash you will have lost less money than an F3er who bought at the same time!

I guess working people in 'poor countries' - eastern europe or suchlike - might be more interested so the god of captialism, E-bay, should come to the fore?

Personally Id keep it - car mount my shiny new F5?.. Coffee in the shiny new F5? Shots in a small boat and salty sea with the new F5? Red overheated? ML5DMK3 Bricked? BMC Dropping frames?.. let's use the FS100 it's working

I dont have a shiny F5 BTW

I had my eyes open for one for a while now and bought one here for $2750. with a Novoflex NIK=>E mount adapter. It's the best price I've seen on it by a long shot so I finally picked it up. I'd been shooting with DSLRs for a while and needed a proper video cam for some time and the FS-100 was the best solution for the price. The C100 is a camera I'd have preferred to get but not at twice the price. The prices have gone down as of late. Most of the listings I've seen are just above $3k USD which still seems a bit high to me. Just a bit of perspective from a buyers standpoint.

Just sold one on ebay for $3,400 - the kit package with no extras. Camera was in excellent condition.
Try ebay, mandy.com, this website, etc.
