Hi all,
I am still thinking about an AF100-as a second camera-currently have a 160A. I also have the following Olympus lenses from my E410SLR. These are all 4/3 with 9 pin connections, so would fit with the micro adaptor. What I would like to know is what would work and what wouldn't.

They are all ED series manual zooms about 3yrs old I guess.

9-18mm f4-5.6
14-42mm 3.5-5.6
40-150mm 4-5.6
70-300mm 4-5.6

They all have manual focus rings but no aperture ring. Any knowledge out there?
Cheers!

Bern, thanks for that- I have some questions:
is your Olympus lens an ED series?
Is it without an aperture ring?
and does the lens work in auto exposure?
also, does the auto focus work and is it noisy?mine are very noisy on my SLR but of course it doesn't matter there.

thankyou

The lens is the Olympus 14-35mm f/2.0 ED.

Never tried auto exposure, or focus, with it on the AF100, but once used autofocus for shooting some quick stills on the GH2 & found the response sluggish.

Lumix & Zuiko m43 lenses have better auto performance, but the manual focus ring is much better on the 4/3 glass.

Thanks guys- LPowell, does the autofocus and auto iris work on your 9-18mm and does the iris wheel work OK in manual mode? not yet owning an AF100 I am not familiar with the controls.
Cheers
Rod
