Hey y'all,
I'd like to try and see if it's possible to make a DIY autofocus adapter for Canon EF lenses to samsung NX mount. I have a spare EF to EF-M adapter laying around from my canon EOS M, and figure that's a good starting point in terms of recieving the electronics from the canon lens-- the difficulty is getting the signal to the NX mount. That's where I'm looking to see if anyone here is willing to donate (or sell at a low price) a busted NX kit lens. Optics can be in any condition, but it needs to be able to function for Auto Focus and OIS. I've been looking on ebay, and coming up dry.
If I can manage to crack this, rest assured I will thoroughly document the process for others to use.
(PS: not experienced in this line of work/modification, so I'm not going to reliably crack this-- I am consulting with a friend who is an electrical engineer, though, to make sure I don't fry my camera/myself)
