Anyone had experience with the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4 L IS with Speedbooster?

I just wondered if anyone has got/used the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4 L IS lens on the FS700 with the Speedbooster?

I figured it would have an aperture of 2.8 when used with the Speedbooster, and it comes with built-in Image Stabilisation.
Should be good for handheld walking shots for example, or even better with a stabilisation/gimbal system.

The few reviews I've read say it's as sharp, or even sharper than the more expensive (and non-I.S.) 2.8 version. Here's one review:

Any thoughts?

I tried the new 16-35/4 IS with a Speedbooster Ultra on my FS7 and it worked fine. Crazy sharp all the way to the corners. It made me sell my old 16-35. Just as the Canon 24-105/4 IS you gain a stop and F2.8 is displayed on the FS7. The same is most likely so on the FS700.

Yes, own it, and it's equally as sharp as my 70-200 (which is known to be one of the sharpest L series) in the corners. Amazing!

For photos w/ 5dmk3, it's ok, autofocus works well and it's super sharp... So trade off for the lack of f/2.8... But it is waaaaay sharper than either of the old 16-35 f/2.8 versions. So if you can manage with the one-stop-less, go for it!

with the FS700+SpeedBooster, it's perfect. Lens IS works amazingly well handheld (excellent on Octocopters too), and this is the main reason I bought it. Highly recommended!
