Anyone Familiar With This Bat Charger?

It looks like a nice charger,,,lcd display, good price. If you get it it would be a good thing to know how it works! Not much help but, hey...
 
I had just heard somewhere that some of these cheap battery chargers don't fully charge your batteries and can even mess up their capacity. I didn't want to spend $40 and then have to go ahead and spend the $160 on the Panasonic one.


Well I went ahead and just ordered one. I'll be sure to review it after I've had a chance to use it some.
 
I canceled my order with them right after I placed it the other day. Just didn't feel right...

Are you sure you can charge the HVX200 batteries with that charger?
 
I bought one of those ebay chargers to charge the chinese batteries that came with my HDR-FX1. Only fitting I thought. :)

It charged the stock sized batteries ok (one chinese, one Sony). I'll pull it open and check out the electronics inside and do a bit of a review.

Most of these chargers use a stock controller chip from one of a few manufacturers, the main differences being what features are actually hooked up (or available on the controller chip used) and the physical design of the charger.
