Anyone experience editing tv drama with Avid vs. FCP ?

Hi, I've been posting an ultra low budget TV drama (www.walkonwater.tv) for the last year using GV Edius. Overall I like what it does. Even with HD (P2 card footage) It's pretty fast/realtime and color correcting has gotten better as I have gotten better at doing it. However I've had issues with motion shots (either a 2:3 pulldown issue or progressive to interlaced) being too ghosty or strong aliasing, but at any rate I'm considering the migration to AVID or FCP.

I'm just wondering if anyone out there has any experience editing together a tv show utilizing the importing of your script feature with AVID and can comment on that as well as the overall editing experience and likes and dislikes of the software for this type of use.

Thanks for input or pointing me to where I might learn more about it..from users..not from the software companies.

Thanks
