Anyone else have this problem?

My iris dial when opening or closing the Iris makes the Fstop suddenly jump to F 11 14 or 16. sometimes to close. this has been happeeing for about a month.

wanna get it fixed. Anyone have any similar experience?

Problems like this can be caused by dust or dirt in the iris wheel. You might want to look into that.

I have the exact same problem. wondering if there is a way to fix it without having to ship the camera to who knows? I live in Hawaii and I am sure there is no one here that can fix panasonic dvx-100A. Anyone have tried to fix the iris wheel?

You might want to take a look back through time here. I believe there was a huge thread on this at some point many moons ago.
