Anyone Else Addicted to iTunes?

So over the course of the last couple of months I've managed to lose something like 40lbs just from not eating crap and going to the gym every single day (who would have thought that would actually work, right?).

So as a motivator for myself I decided I would join the 21st century and get an iPod Video (which I always thought was just a glorified mp3 player). Well, now I am completely addicted to iTunes, to the point where I have to monitor how much time I spend on there...

So, anyone else obsessed with iTunes? Any great finds they want to suggest?

Personally I found Def Leppard's Greatest Hits and have been enjoying that (of course I'm the same person who hasn't purchased a CD in almost 10 years, yet I own more than 300 DVDs) plus Lost Seasons 1 & 2 (it makes cardio go by quicker).

So just curious if anyone else is hooked on it...

If I'm going to buy an album, I like to have the physical CD. But I've found a lot of songs on iTunes that I've wanted but didn't want to buy a CD to get. That's what I use it for the most.

EXACTLY what I think.

I used to work at Apple as a content tester for the iTunes music store and I can say honestly that I discovered an astounding array of different music working in that capacity. I can't think of any suggestions based on your taste (Def Lepard) but I'm constantly finding awesome music from other people's imixes that I would never have come across otherwise.

Next time you find an album that you like, click one of the top rated imixes in the upper right hand corner and see what else the compiler of the iMix is in to. It's definitaley addictive.

I wasn't saying that Def Leppard is my favorite band or anything, but still, it reminds me of being younger so it makes me smile... Plus 'Pour some Sugga on me' sounds like 'Pour some shook up Ramen'...

Most of my collection is just 70's rock and 80's cheese. I just need more!

My itunes sounds like John's.

I never thought I'd admit it, but I have some Grease on there too. If John can fess up then I will too.

"beauty school dropout...no graduation day for you. Beauty school dropout....missed your midterms and flunked shampoo".

Put that one in your coconut.

Ill fess up

Abba
Plimsouls
Pretenders
Monkees
Men Without Hats
Berlin
Rick James
A-ba
Chaka Khan

I can keep going ...

Mamas and Papas... Van Morrison... Bob Dylan... Joan Baez... David Bowie... Mott the Hoople... Queen... the B-52s... Danny Elfman Soundtracks... CCR... and a ton more.

No one can have a more eclectic collection than I have...2600+ songs, anywhere from the Carpenters, to Staind, to Matisyahu, to the Oak Ridge Boys, to Metallica, to Saint-Sens, Michael Martin Murphy, 5th Dimension, Keane...

TheYankee-

You just reminded me...I've got tickets to see Def Leppard and Journey next month at the SPAC. I cant wait. It should be an outright cheese fest and I'm gonna love it.!!!
