you can calibrate the meter to the exact sensitivity of the camera...actually three profiles available, which means three different cameras can be calibrated!

what i am thinking is if i can calibrate a D300 (zeiss lens) & the HVX with the redrock M2 (ziess lens) on it then i can do some stills when i prelight a set and get close to what the hvx will see...hmmm..
