Anybody used microcosm?.

Has anybody tried this codec from digital anarchy. It sounds pretty interesting as a conversion from your NLE to after effects or combustion.

I checked it out a long time ago. I might re-look into it because I've been sitting here wondering what's the best way to move about between programs.

It looks interesting, but I've never tried it. I found one good way to transfer footage between Vegas and combustion is to use the PluginPac Frameserver. It serves uncompressed frames to Combustion directly from Vegas and best of all--it's free.

Yup, Satish's frameserver is awsome. However, there's also the issue of getting back from Combustion to Vegas. While it can be done with any number of uncompressed video or still image codecs, supposedly, the real advantage of microcosm is that it offers uncompressed quality at a much smaller file size, as well as good render times compared to other uncompressed codecs.
