Anybody used a Nikon 35mm DX on the AF100?

I need a decent priced 35mm and was looking at the 35mm 1.8 DX by Nikon, but was wondering since it doesn't have an aperture ring are you pretty much just stuck with whatever the lighting conditions are versus being able to open up the iris?

You just need the proper adapter for it to work correctly.

Oh ok, just realized I do have the Adaptimax Plus and says it will work. It comes with the metal screw, but based on the pics I'm not seeing how this adjusts the aperture?

its a good cheap under rated lens - sharp wide open and I think coupled with a speedbooster will make a great poor mans normal 25mm-ish lens on the af101

Good idea. Problem solved. Don't want the extra hassle during some of the quick shoots I have to do.

When I shot on the AF100 the 35mm was my favorite lens of all on the crop sensor. I would use it 45% of the time with a Nikon G adapter.

i love the image quality but i dont like the image shifting when i rack focus.
