Anybody know how to record output in Audacity for windows 7?

The title says almost nothing. Certainly nothing that we can reply to.
If you can't post a more complete question, we probably can't help you.

I think it make it really easy to answer because just about any answer will be "correct".

Use a Polaroid camera and take a picture of the screen. See easy ;~)

Okay, folks. The point has been made... a bit too thoroughly.

Heck of a welcome for a new member.

Speedy MANIAC, your question can mean several things. Are you trying to record audio from an external source into Audacity, or have you already worked with the audio in Audacity and need to get it out of Audacity to another place? If it's the latter (exporting from Audacity), where are you going with it? To your hard drive? To CD? To another destination? Help us help you. The more information we have, the better we'll be able to answer.

Speedy,

The audio board can be a little rough....but give it a chance, it will work for you. Flesh out your question and you'll get answers

Wow I just did something stupid and now I have to retype the whole thing!!! Kind of OT but I've done this before, going anywhere while in the middle of typing a response and you loose everything. Other boards (I believe) either prompted you to save or you don't lose everything in the typing area. At least this is the only board this happens to me. Maybe just my own stupidity.

ANYWAY back On Topic

So the reason you got silly responses and they were silly not trying to be mean, was because your question could mean a lot of things. You could be trying to record Audacity's output OR AN Output IN Audacity. If your trying to record Audacity's output that is probably as simple as saving. But maybe your doing some real time mucking about and you want to record the outs of your sound card into ???

now that we feel guilty for pouncing on a new comer you should restate your question with more details and we will all feel obliged to give you great answers.

Welcome aboard.

It just cracked me up that there was not one but two bands named Output (sort of).
I'll have to search for Input now ;~)
