i came across a guy selling one of these lights on ebay last year.
http://www.cineluxlighting.com/Cine-Lux_Lighting/Home.html
its an edge-lit, dimmable (and color-variable) led panel. i guess like a higher powered roscoe light pad. but its patented. so im guessing there are some fundamental differences...
i got outbid. so i tracked down the "company" via their facebook page. which at the time was the only google search result for cine lux. i talked to the guy who makes them and he didnt seem really motivated to do much. said they didnt keep an inventory of them and that they were basically made to order.
i really wanted to try them out. but at nearly $2k each, i wasnt really motivated to be a guinea pig.
so now their website is reasonably functional (though a bit content-thin) and it appears they are actually being sold...
my question is, does anyone here have any first hand knowledge or experience with these units? yeah, they are pricey. but it looks like they are way less spotty than the current crop of 1000+ bulbed led panels
