hello!
I shot a beautiful short movie last year in the desert within a program at USC. I shot it with the PAN HVX200 but need to do pick-up shots to wrap up the editing and send it to the Cannes selection in March. The only problem is the initial shoot sucked up all of my budget and I can absolutely not afford to rent a camera at LA rates!
I am looking for somebody with a HVX200 or something that could match the footage like the Canon H1 to do these pick-up shots. They will be mostly done in the desert, in the Joshua trees.
This 15' supernatural short movie is very likely to make it into big international festivals (you can take a look at the trailer: www.stephaniejoalland.com), so I think it is worth the trip and effort!
Thanks a lot for your help. Even if you do not have a camera, thanks a lot for your tips and advice (If you know a really cheap rental place for instance in the LA area). I come from France, just arrived in LA, so your pieces of advice are really welcome!
Looking forward to hearing from you
