Anybody heard from Olof and his shoulder rig

I emailed him last year, and he told me that a version should be ready by January. I emailed him again a few days ago but have not gotten a response. I really would like to get a shoulder rig for my FS100. I liked Olof's design which puts the camera over your shoulder instead of in front of you. I plan to get his shoulder rig and combine it with his grip handle to get something close to the old eng camera designs. The only other shoulder rig I have seen that comes close is the Element Technica which is really expensive or the RedRock Micro which seems too plasticky.

I'm looking for a similar setup for my rig. Have a look at Vocas shoulder pad (quite expensive tough), or the TILTA baseplate. Both put your camera right over your shoulder, which is great if you like compact and lightweight setups. The Tilta baseplate looks exactly like Olof's shoulder rig, so it may be a great avenue to achieve what you want.

For the wooden handgrip, Olof's design is great, but the start/stop button only work with the AF100. Vocas makes great looking wooden handgrip, but they are very expensive. A great alternative would be to skrew the plastic handgrip included in the kit to a simple and cheap 15mm rod clamp, so you could keep the handgrip very close to the camera and still be able to start/stop REC. I may explore this avenue myself in a near future.

I don't know if the handgrip that comes with the FS100 will be sturdy enough, but it is worth a try. I will probably go with the Tilta rig since it not only puts the camera over your shoulder, but it also allows for a quick release plate. At that price, how can you go wrong? Thanks for the info.
