A bit late but I'm too a happy SWIT 83 user. It also helps to get a female DTAP extension (typically 4 outlets and about $20 on Amazon) and makes powering everything on your camera easier from one battery.
I've had the Swintronics EX-L96s and the WalkArt S-8U62s which are Swits and they have both been fabulous for quite a few years . Ever since the F3 came out.
Mine are not shipped so I have to use the little adapter cable but that has not been a problem at all . though I probably change them earlier than I would if I had a direct readout in the viewfinder.
I am curious about the Chinese knockoffs like the Wasabi's ( are those Chinese or Japanese?).
