1 - Wondering if anybody here got the chance to set up the AF100 with a stabilizer like the Blackbird or the Steadicam Merlin, and see if it works... :)

Or is the camera too heavy for that kind of set up, and do we need a vest and arm type of configuration ...? :(

2 - And how necessary is a wireless follow focus system if you shoot with a fairly wide lens non auto focus on this camera at, let's say worst case scenario, a 2.8?

Thanks for the input....

Handheld you will not manage more then a minute, or two. Without wireless FF you will either get long depth of field (video-ish looking images) or need to really have marks for talents and operator to maintain distance throughout the scene. Glidecam Smooth Shooter and HD4000 combo will both do fast hand held scene's aswell as vest and arm at a price many can afford. You still need a wireless FF for most situations I would say.
