Anybody had this problem with offloading footage?

When trying to read sd card on my mac I get this error:

No images on the memory card meet the download conditions.

I put the same sd card reader into my PC and my files are there with no problem.

The only thing that has changed with my Mac is that I now have the latest OS software OSX 10.8.3 whereas in the past I was able to read files from my Af100 on my mac with no issues.

Is this a common issue that's been discussed already? I did a quick search and didn't find any solutions.
 
I just updated to 10.8.3 maybe two weeks ago. I haven't seen that issue at all. The new OS does handle AVCHD differently when it comes to pulling it up in the finder, but it's just a new feature and doesn't really have any overall effect. It could possibly make you have to change your workflow a little, but that's it. Have you tried other cards? Or maybe it has to do with the card reader. Do you have another to try?

Yea I have two cards with footage on them and two different card readers and they open the images fine on my PC, but not on my Mac all of a sudden...I tried a third card that has some photos from my Canon Rebel t3i and they open fine on Mac and PC.

I just installed it and restarted my cpu....no luck. Same message saying memory card doesn't meet the download conditions.....


WTF?
 
Ok, so just FYI - Deleted the Canon Image Viewer and pretty much all the utilities that came with the install CD on my Rebel and I don't get the error message anymore and footage seems to be fine.

Being as the only thing that had changed since the last time I edited footage from my Af100 was the fact that I updated my OS and also bought a Canon rebel t3i for some photography and installed everything from their install disk. Figured it had to be one of the two.
 
That's good to know. I guess maybe with that software, when it saw that the card came from a camera, it was expecting it to be a Canon file structure... That's my best guess.
