Weil hier in der Schweiz das Lieferdatum in den Februar verschoben wurde.
Falls die Cam in Deutschland schon raus ist überlege ich mir eine zu Importieren.
Ist auch preislich günstiger im Moment.

People have already received them in Germany (and other countries in Europe), there was a cool bike video posted a week or two ago with a delivered German production model. If anything, the problem is limited numbers.
 
well, in switzerland its pretty ****ed up.

since we're not in the european union.

it could take months till they get imported here.

England isn't in the EU either (right?) but they've received copies. Might really make sense to get one yourself from wherever you can find it, if you expect it really will take months.
 
i have a contact at Panasonic Switzerland and they just wished me good luck :S (could me March or later)
so i order from Germany.
 
Mkfotos: the UK is in the EU, of course. They are not part of the euro- currency though.

Switzerland and Norway are the two biggest European countries that are not in the EU for monetary reasons (banks and oil)

Hi,

according to my dealer only 40 cameras were supposed to be delivered to he whole of Germany before Christmas. If that has happened nobody knows. A bigger delivery is expected to arrive mid-January. But nobody really knows.

The video with the guys on their bmx-bikes was shot on a pre-production model if I remember right what the guy from "saubere filme" told us at the hands-on-tour. So any camera that did shoot something up to immediately before Christmas in the country of the Teutons was - at least officially - pre-production.

I doubt that enough cameras will arrive soon enough so that you stand a chance when ordering now to get one in January - but you can try. I did order rather early and still wait.
