Anybody do music videos?

i'm doing a music video for my cousin as a favor and he needs an attractive female for the love interest. A majority of the girls we've been in contact with look great and are willing to work for cheap (especially being as they don't have to be half naked or anything), the one girl he is interested in is wanting $250 for a shoot that will only last about 4 or 5 hours.

i've always been under the impression that video girls barely make that on a daily basis even in major artists videos?

is there a "going rate" for music video girls in the industry?
 
negotiate. we pay no more than $100 for actors in our music vids. for $400 i can get a group of 4 hot pro dancers that choreograph on the fly for the whole day.

then again this is l.a. throw a rock and hit an actor. maybe atl isn't as competitive....
 
yea that's what i was thinking. $100 for an actor out here goes even further. the bar is actually LOWER out here in atlanta so wasn't sure if i was missing something.
 
p-diddy just had an ad out for his vodka commercial hiring professional models for $150 for the entire day.

video girls dont make crap unless they're using it as publicity to help propel their other ventures (modeling, whatever).
