I have just placed an order for the Varizoom Media Rig. I was just wondering if anybody else has used it yet ?

no its not in the market yet, another two month and its way too expensive i have the multirigpro its fantastic and more reasonably priced. actually I can say that for all the possibilities you get, the multirig is quit a bargain. I have
looked at the media rig its trying to be a dvrigpro but has many limitations
and over priced tag. You can get an original dvrigpro for 500$ direct from the manufacturer...

Do you notice a pattern here.
First PAG (UK distributor) used to distribute the DVRig Pro. Then they suddenly develop the Orbitor (almost identicle except for pan feature).

Then Varizoom (U.S. distributor) is a distributor in the U.S. And now they come out with the DV Media Rig (Even more similar to the DV Rig Pro. Including the name).

I guess Danny never patented the design.

I guess all of us who used the DVRig Pro, and boasted about it knew what we were talking about. And now people like us are spreading the word on the DV Multi Rig.

Danny, hurry up an patent the design.

Lesson learned the MultiRig system is patented. Moral issues are a different story...

My guess is they are even further copying the DVmultirig by using a spring pole attached to a waist belt to compensate for the heavy front end. Sorry to see they are doing this to you Danny.

Actually Jim, the 2 section spring loaded support pod was part of the DVRig Pro as well.
The DVMulti Rig uses the same support pod as the DVRig Pro.

I am sorry too, For them, they made some critical mistakes in the copy. We are trying harder with new ideas, better prices and the best personal customer support. thanks.
