Any Work in San Diego?  I'm Moving There Soon

Hello All.

In a few weeks I will be moving from suburban Washington DC to San Diego. If anyone reading this lives in San Diego and cares to enlighten me on the San Diego production scene I would appreciate it greatly.

My guess is that little production center just north of SD absorbs all the work. :) And yet, I can't help but think/hope that maybe, just maybe, there is overflow to the San Diego area.

My background is in directing, shooting, and producing for television, industrials, short films, etc. Any information pertaining to work in those areas or information about production or post-production shops is, again, greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Sam

Join the club, Sam. Pretty slim pickin's down here. There's plenty of copy/credit/meals gigs tho, if you just want to network. I'm getting a few offers up in LA though, so that's your best bet as of now.

Sam,

I'm new to the area myself and would be happy to team up with you on any projects around San Diego. I'm in Oceanside 35 miles north of the city.

Thanks for the info. Yep, this is going to be tough.

Perhaps once I officially move to SD I'll host a little howdoyado at a local watering hole. It would be nice to meet some video folk. First 2 rounds are on me.

Thanks again.

The only legit oppurtunities (Biz speaking of course) are:

Stu Segall Productions

and

Fox Baja

(That I am aware of.)
