Any way to fix a blown out window?

Hey guys,

Any tips on taming/fixing a blown out window? I lit my scene, but got too wrapped up and forgot to pull the blinds on the window. Reshooting isn't really any option. I've added a screenshot. Big bummer becaues all the other shots turned out great... no color correction yet.

Can I key out the window? Mask it and pull down the bright/contrast?

I've got Vegas, Photoshop, After Effects.

Thanks for any help...

Brad

Is the shot locked off? If so I'd mask it and either replace it with something else or tone it down some with brightness and contrast. I'd try all this in AE. You just might have to try a few different things. Might also want to tone down the reflection in the TV too so it matches.

30 seconds in Vegas. Masked it out, random suburb picture put in.

Imagine what 5 minutes can do. (yeah I know my example is bad)

Point is, this is easily fixed.

Hey nice!

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll open it in AE and try masking it off. BennisHahn, nicely done for 30 seconds. It looks like I should be able to take care of it. Thanks, again!
