im working on a music video, and what i did was cut each section of the video into different vegas session , is there anyway to bring how each track is laid down in each session to one main vegas session ?

Just to make sure I understand you right, you have edited different parts of the video in separate project files, and saved them independently? And you want to combine those into a single video now? If so, start a new master project and you should be able to add all the individual project files you created to the timeline and arrange them there.

that is exactly what im trying to do..now i need tips if you dont mind on creating a master track and how to add individual project files to it, sorry if this is a stupid queston..what i just tried to do is open 2 different projects that have a different section of the video, tried to move tracks from one project to another i was not able to do that..thanks for any help

What method did you use to move the project files from one to the next? I ask because I have done this with audio in vegas (I haven't done it with video though). With the audio, I opened up both instances/sessions of vegas - and minimized both so I could fit both projects onto the screen. Then I went to SELECT ALL, then MADE ALL A GROUP, then COPIED from one project and went to the other one and PASTED .. everything dropped in was still attached as a group so it would still be in sync with each other. Then as I needed to move them around, I just removed them from the group and continued editing.

GullyJewelz, just drag each veg file to the master's timeline. You will get one event on the timeline for each of the underlying veg files. Each event will be a composite of that veg's multiple tracks and edits.

Lookup 'nesting' in the Vegas help section... Like stated above, just import the .veg project into the 'project media' of the current project...and drag it onto the timeline...done. No need to copy & paste.
It's a great feature.
