any reason not to buy micro SD cards for AF100?

Choosing between an SD and a MicroSD card for AF100. Any reason not to just get a MicroSD so I can use it for more cameras (i.e. GoPro 3) or devices, rather than limit myself to standard size SD? Would I lose anything in speed or reliability?

This would NOT be my main memory card for the AF100, I would use it 1-2 a year in cases where I really need a lot of storage or have a multi-cam long form record
 
Recording media is so inexpensive these days, I would just get 2 SD cards for the AF and some separate microSD cards for the GoPro.
