Any real work around Canon 24f in Avid?

Shooting a couple of films and want to use the Cnaon XH-A1. I know the codec is not supported but what are my choices? Switch to FCP (which I doun't want to), transcode each clip or use a mojo and bring it in component to another codec? (can I even do that?). I guess there is also the bump to MC and use the DNX codecs.

Any thougths or ideas.
