Any need to hack for 60p or slow mo?

On my upcoming feature I'll be using a Gh1 to get some slow motion shots of my lead actor walking. I was going to shoot in 720p 60 at a high shutter and slow it down in post. Most of the hacks I've scene have been for 1080p 24p. Is there any significant quality gain to hacking the gh1 when shooting in 720p? or perhaps now there is a better way to do slow mo?

Apply compatible settings with ptool for 60p (not all settings will work for 60p, make sure they're compatible), shoot, conform to another framerate in post (like 24p). Done.

The hack ups the bitrate in all the modes. You can also set different bitrates for the different 720 modes (SH, H, L). SH is always the same as FHD, so I've got that on maximum. I've got H on a slightly lower (but still improved) bitrate for times when I get errors or am using a slower card, and L on the standard bitrate.
