Hi

Is there any known travel or nature doc shot on the FS7?

Other than short stories from Vimeo? Would love to see how it fares in the wild and exotic places.

I think Alister Chapman has taken his up the frozen north of Norway for his annual "northern lights" tours.. check his site Im sure Ive read something to that effect on his blog..

CNN's The Wonder List. I forget which episodes, but half of it is F55 and the other half FS7. Philip Bloom hasn't mentioned before which episodes used which cameras.
A7s & C100 mixed in there as well.

Nice, had forgotten about that. Do you perhaps know where to watch it? Cant seem to easily find any episodes on CCN, and not on Play store, and finally, not even on illegal sites either... They usually are our backup when producers are keeping their content out of reach of paying customers :2vrolijk_08:

As far as I know, he ditched the F55 after S1 and it's exclusively FS7, C100 and A7/A7SII in S2.

We just wrapped 5 out of 6 one hour TV shows that are about to premiere on Norways second biggest tv channel the 3rd of March. We have used 3 FS-7, A7 for b-roll, Osmo and Phantom 3.
As it hasn't aired yet I can't show anything here yet. Just wish firmware 3.0 came out a year ago;-)
the show is sport related and we have traveled to different countries in Europe.
Never had any camera trouble and it looks pretty good of what I have seen.
Its mostly run'n'gun, documentary style.

Edit:
Here is a very short clip from the the first episode filmed during Hahnenkam, Kitzbuhel downhill race.
A bit shaky camera, but getting down The Streif with a camera on my shoulder trying not to be in the way of the racers wasn't the easiest thing I've done;-)

(Hope it plays in other countries)

Plays for me at least, go TV2 :-)

You have my full understanding for shaking when skiing and filming at the same time! Havent dared do that to my FS7 yet. Did you ever fall with one?

Looks amazing Doug!

When do you think you will release a Resolve tutorial? My money is ready

@ Martin and Travis
I'm not sure when I will have the time on my schedule to actually do it, but a S-LOG/RAW workflow and grading with Resolve training video has been on my back burner for months. It's actually quite a bit easier than some people want to make it, so mostly it is just a matter of stripping away the mystery of Resolve and providing a solid workflow and properly configuring Resolve. I'm not sure there is enough interest to make it worth my time, but maybe I'll do something later this spring. Thank you for the suggestion, you just nudged me a little closer to doing it.

I hope so. Your footage always seems to be just that little extra clearer, crispier, and better, than most everybody elses. Not sure if its just the quality of the light during the time of shooting, or something else.

It is so easy to go overboard on sharpening, midtone detail, and contrast too. So i guess its also your personal taste and eyeballing that is high quality. But perhaps you could do a short text write-up, to measure the interest first?

I have taken an online course in Resolve, but i havent the faintest idea on how to get such high clarity footage as yourself.
