Any less-than-$200 photo/camcorders that match this spec sheet?

Hey guys, basically, I need a no-more-than $200 photo camera/camcorder that has these specs:

-Manual exposure/manual white balance options - OR at least "lock" buttons
-1080p 1920x1080 (not I, wrappers, or just 720P - I don't care if it's 24P or 30P, however, and 30P is prolly best for the needs.)
-at least 5x optical zoom.
-great image stabilization
-lower the aperture, the better (many have 1.8)
-less than $200 on amazon.

basically, i think that's all I require, but so far from surfing amazon, I've having no luck (either it's always 1440x1080, interlaced, 1x optical zoom, no IS, not-so-great apertures, ect ect.) I also don't care if it's an off brand, or wether it's a camcorder body or a still photo body, just I need the specs.

would also be just a plus if it was a water-proof camera!

P.S. Sounds like a short lazy post, but in the end, I bet having a product thread like this would really help everyone out. I bet everyone here has went through a time where they were like "Dang, I wish I had a cheapo camcorder that really could churn out decent controls."

That's exactly why DSLR's are so popular. They're some of the cheapest cameras around which offer proper, full manual control as opposed to just "exposure compensation" or somthing similar. Consumer camcorders, even ones at the upper end of the range, often do not give you full manual control. Even if they do, it is often buried deep within menu's. $200 camcorders are even less likely to give you those options.

Snapper,

Closest to what you want (4x zoom instead of 5x) for less that $200 on Amazon seems to be the new Canon PowerShot ELPH 100 HS. It has 1920x1080p, image stabilization and pretty good good low-light performance.

Cheers,

Bill
