I think most rain covers are fairly affordable. Less than 100 dollars on EVS. Go take a look for yourself www.evsonline.com I wouldn't skimp too much when it comes to Water Vs. DVX!! If you know what I'm saying!! ~reservoir~

..ive developed a space age rain cover for my camera that is pretty cool. its called a thick clear heavy duty garbage bag with some tape making it conform around the camera...
the very front open and is where the bag opening is and is at the end of the matte box flags. so the lense is in a ways under the hood of the flags and kept clean and dry. or you can tape a peice of flat glass into the endof the bag for the lense to look through while being completely enclosed. works great. put some sort of moisture absorber in there so it doesnt condense up on the inside though if its that type of weather. or if your so inclined and the bag is clear enough you can just shoot through the clear bag if its strecthed tight over the front of the lense area. very cheap. and very quick and easy to do. although it looks really hobo like.

We currently have Loser on commission to manufacture 200 pieces of his "Rain-Garb", and he claims he can get them all done in the same time it takes to run to K-Mart... I will post when we have that product in stock :thumbsup:
