#3 Output lossless Quicktime movies

Shane's Stock Answer #3: How to output lossless Quicktime movies

To export your project so there is no loss in quality, simply go to the File Menu and select EXPORT>QUICKTIME MOVIE. Not Quicktime Conversion, for this will compress the footage. Make sure the settings match your timeline settings, make it self contained, do NOT recompress the footage, and you are set.

I'm pretty sure that was my first attempt but it didn't go full screen. I will give it ago when I get back in the studio 2morrow. Thanks shane.

Could you detail the meaning of "it goes like crap on nearly all settings?"

You know what that means, but we can't see your workflow, or settings here.

And wasn't CS4 Premiere just released in the last few weeks?

grain , wrong size. Even when I export as a quick time movie it still dosent export to full screen.

Oh and yeah it did but its not much different from cs3

Full screen for what? Movie house? Boutique house? HDTV? 36 inch Sony? 14 inch Panasonic?

Computer monitor?

Full screen means NOT larger than 100% of the size of the video... 720x480??? What size is your computer monitor?

Good LORD... there's more than just GUYS here.

sorry just on my phone is a mish to type. Its for a 24" iMac thing is when I export it in cs4 it exports in widescreen and still can pull to full screen in QuickTime. But when I put that vid into fcp then export it , quality gets majorly decreased and aint the right size.

And yes of course girls too :-p

again...

What is your iMac set for? 1280x???? Come on, your video is PAL!!!

Set it to view at 100% and THEN tell us what it looks like.
