Due to the above stated limitations in chroma subsampling and uncertain bit depth status of the FS7 HDMI output in HUD/4K (I didn't realize any of them), and the FS7 extension unit price not worth it for my use - I guess I'm definitely dropping the idea of investing in a recording monitor like Shogun Inferno or Odyssey. But I'm still in the market for a HDR-capable, field (and studio), FHD monitor - and the SmallHD 1303 seems like the only candidate...

Hence my question: has anyone here had an opportunity to test one in person? Any first-hand impressions would be appreciated, as the beast isn't cheap at all :(

Anyone please? And if nobody here actually played with it - perhaps a link to some review (I asked Google about a SmallHD 1303 test/review, but nothing was found)... Could it be that the monitor didn't hit the shelves yet?

Interested in the same info for the 13" and 17" models. I have some bones to pick with the 502 - mainly SDI port build quality and how they changed what the LUT does to exposure tools in v1.5 or so - wondering if the larger models are vastly improved or just *almost* there.
