Hey there!

I'm looking at the Lumix 35-100 f/2.8, and it looks like it's available for around $700 from non-US sellers. Is there any risk of issues with firmware updates on Panasonic lenses sold from other countries? I'm going to be getting a GH5 this year, and want to make absolutely sure I can update the firmware in the lens to take advantage of the dual stabilization.

Thanks!

I really don't think that you will have any problems with the grey market lens. If I understand grey market correctly, it is sold outside of the manufacture's chain of authorized dealers and does not meet the warranty requirements. Other wise, there is no difference between grey market or one from an authorized dealer.
