Hi guys. Over the next little while, I may finally be looking at upgrading my camera from my aging Canon XM2. Now, I was pretty much going to just go to the DVX100B, as it's cheap and I couldn't go the HVX route (too expensive, not convinced by P2 even though the tapeless concept gets me all tingly), but then I started to wonder if HDV wasn't that bad after all, and what other options are around rather than find myself wanting to upgrade again soon if I bought the DVX.
So I'm actually after some footage shot with this HD100 (or 101) if anyone can point me to a site.
Also I have a question:
How are you finding the MPG compressed on moving objects? That is my biggest concern for HDV, that I am going to shoot something with some speed, like a fight scene, and things are going to go all to hell. Note, I have no experience with this HDV, so am just thinking the worst.
Cheers
