GH3 Any GH3 users who have used the GX7?

Thanks for your input Mike Lorushe! And good tip about the new pancake lens. Do you know if you can manual focus with the dial on the camera body or is it touch screen only? I believe on the GM1, you can use the dial to focus as well as the touchscreen. That lens is so compact and versatile, it'd be a shame if you were stuck with touchscreen focusing.

Good call on checking it out at the store, Lammy. I'm definitely doing that this weekend. I hadn't even thought about wifi interference and battery performance with wifi constantly on, but I'm glad it hasn't been a problem for you. Good to know that the GF5's batteries will work on the GX7. Do you guys recommend 3rd party batteries? Any problems using them?
 
You can manually focus via the touchscreen and also by pressing the 2 buttons left and right from the menu button. You can't change it using any of the dials. Kind of annoying but you get use to it quickly.

I've picked up a couple of cheapo 3rd party GX7 batteries on ebay. They work fine. They don't last quite as long as the proper ones but more than good enough for my needs. A couple of batteries should get you through a full day of general usage.
