any footy shot on dv tape with redrock?

hey guys,

i was wondering if anybody here shoots dv-tapes on a HVX with a 35mm adapter. if so, pls post a clip of coz i wanna see what it looks like. my firestore keeps breaking down on me and i cant afford to buy p2 cards right now so im wonderin the quality of dv tapes. thanks very much.
 
I find that there is a bit of stair stepping compresion artifacts when using a tape with the HVX more than the DVX from what I've heard from others. I would suggest renting a couple cards and shooting HD (1080/24Pa in my opinion).
 
thanks for the input. yea im actually thinkin bout savin up for some p2 cards. firestore just let me down.:cry:
