Vignetting is severe in the lower half of the zoom range. You have to stay at about Z60 or above to avoid vignetting. Century acknowledges the issue and says that with the lens on, you have effectively a 36mm - 72mm zoom. Which means your 10:1 zoom range is now down to 2:1, but it is 60% more telephoto.
yes.. in reality, if you are using a telephoto you are probally staying out of the wide areas anyways, as there becomes an overlap in focal length when you widen out on a Telephoto adapter..
correct me if i am wrong, but 36-72 means.....uhm.....259-518 in 35mm words which is quite good.
how many stops do u lose with this adapter? 2 or more?

Thanks Barry... I was on a trade show floor with it. It was obvious that the bottom third was bad, but with my unscientific testing, I didn't realize it was bad that far up the zoom range... glad I didn't go with it...
