After you build a page(s) in Dreamweaver CS3 how do I publish it to my webhost server? Sorry for the newbish question I just bought adobe in classroom book dreamweaver cs3 and already finished it :). I'm not to sure how to upload a site built to my webhost? I would greatly appreciate anyones help. Also, any kind of step by step or embed quicktime tutorial would be great!

I don't use Dreamweaver, but in iWeb, I just publish the folder to my harddrive and upload it from there. No special software. Whoever you host with may be able to help. GoDaddy walked me through it the first time.

Who's your webhost and what kind of control panel do you have? CPanel?

Log-in to CPanel, and look for File Manager under the Files section and double click on that icon. From there go into the folder where you want to upload your files and then find the Upload button. Then from there you can browse for your files on your computer and upload.

Thanks for the help man I appreciate it. I have a page I started making in joomla for my website but now I have dreamweaver how can I just delete my currnet page and start over in dreamweaver so I can then use dreamweaver page(s)? Does that make sense? Sorry for the "newbish" questions.

So my hosting tech service sucks. I have a knowledge base and tutorials but to actaully get customer service it cost $50.00. Bummer.

I made a connection through ftp in dreamweaver to my host site but can't seem to be able to actaully change or upload anything. I found the ftp/uploading in dreamweaver just deleted my start of crappy site with joomla. Just have to figure out how to upload new one :).

Well. The question was about Dreamweaver. Wasn't it.
yes.... but you don't need to upload within Dreamweaver... so I was offering other options.... Dreamweaver is really just a website constructor, most people I know manually upload files from there to the internet with FTP programs or the File Manager on CPanel.
