V vishy1983 Member Dec 18, 2012 #1 other day one the DP surpised to see the lower iso setting 500.even the entry level dslr's come with 100,arri alexa also starts from 200,red starts @80 (may be). is there any disadvantge ?,if so what conditions,thanks

Postmaster Dark Side of the Camera Dec 18, 2012 #2 There is no lower ISO than the sensors native ISO - use a ND and you are golden.
