Any Chicago DVXers want to join a team for the 100 hour film race?

Hi,

I'm Mark. local Chicago indie filmmaker.

I'm trying to assemble a team based in Chicago for the filmracing.com 100 hour filmmaking contest.

more info can be found at the link below...
http://www.filmracing.com/grandprix/grandprix.htm

Basically, it's just a 48 hour filmmaking contest except 100 hours is given to make the short film.

The contest starts from Nov. 20th and ends on the 24th.

Experience is preferred but not necessary. Film students are welcomed.

I just want people who are great to work with and are flexible with their schedule from the start to finish dates (20th to 24th). This is due to the fact that the theme and the other required elements are not revealed until the start date.

So…being flexible and a team player are a must.

Also...If you have access to various locations (i.e. bars, stores, restaurant, apartments, & houses) , which we'll be able to obtain permission to shoot at, that would really help. This is optional but would be a great asset to the film.

What I bring to the team are local actors, experience, and access to filmmaking equipment thru Depaul University and the people at Chicago Filmmakers. I own a Brevis, HV20, and edit on a Mac running Final Cut Pro. Obtaining actors, equipment, and finishing post production are not a big deal. I need collaborators.

Either or, this is gonna be a fun, filmmaking experience, which could result in a winning short film.

Lastly, there’s no pay. I'll provide everyone with a dvd copy, credit, food, and transportation (if needed).

Let me know.

send me an email at markpm@sbcglobal.net.

Thanks for viewing
Mark
